Sat, Oct 27: Sugar Skull Workshops
Decorate your own sugar skull to celebrate Dia de los Muertos! The workshop will begin with a brief introduction and a demonstration guiding you through the sugar skull making process. Each participate will receive a pre-assembled sugar skull to decorate and take home. All materials will be provided… colorful icing, glitter, foil, etc. You are also welcome to bring additional items to add your own personal touch. Times: 12-2pm, 3-5pm, and 6-8pm. Space is limited; please call ahead to reserve a spot. Cost: $20 per person, per skull.
Dia de los Muertos, or the Day of the Dead, is a Mexican holiday celebrated Nov 1-2. It is a time when friends and family gather to remember their loved ones who have passed away. Instead of being scary or sad, it is a time of happiness and joy! Come celebrate with us and learn more about this special holiday.
